How can I stop all this kissing?

I like my job save for one thing. I’m often expected to kiss colleagues. This is bad partly because I hate having my space invaded by relative strangers but also because I’m confused about the rules of who kisses who and when. Is it ever OK to kiss a boss?

Does one only kiss colleagues who are friends? And do you do it every day? And which cheek do you go for first? And one cheek or two?

I have just read with envy that they are trying to ban this sort of thing in Germany. I wondered if there was anything that I could do to eliminate or clarify the practice here in London?
