2015英國大選

Voting ended in UK election

The UK faces the closest and most unpredictable general election in memory on May 7.

Weeks of tough campaigning failed to push the electorate towards either the Conservative or Labour parties ahead of the start of voting on Thursday, solidifying expectations for a hung parliament. Voting ended at 10pm UK time, after which the exit polls are expected.

The election result could be determined by a few hundred votes in a few dozen marginal seats, and the result may not become clear until well into Friday morning.
