Like moths to a flame, foreign investors can't help but be attracted to China's alluring equity market.
For the first time in nine weeks foreign buyers snapped up Chinese stocks, according to EPFR data via ANZ. Foreign investors bought $225m of funds tracking Chinese equities in the week ended April 15, after a $2bn outflow a week before.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite has notched fresh multi-year highs this week, with a year-to-date gain of more than 32 per cent. Domestic retail investors have been driving the rally on record turnover. Now, others are getting in on the rally.
