Hillary Clinton may not officially have made up her mind whether to run for the US presidency in 2016. Everyone else has concluded she will.
The launch of her memoir Hard Choices today looks more like a campaign itinerary than a book tour. Polls project her consistently as the Democratic frontrunner – some would suggest a “prohibitive” one.
The question is not whether Mrs Clinton will run but how and for what. On her previous attempt in 2008 she was upended by Barack Obama’s superior campaign. She was also hobbled by her 2002 Senate vote in favour of authorising the Iraq invasion.
