In early March, Xi Jinping will formally receive his third and least important title as President of the People’s Republic of China, having already assumed the roles of Communist party general-secretary and commander in chief of the military in mid-November.
Even after that it may take him years to place his own people into positions of real power, particularly and most importantly in the military.
