Google chief tells N Korea to accept internet

Google’s chairman Eric Schmidt has told North Korea that its failure to embrace the internet age will hold back economic growth.

Mr Schmidt said he had made his point “very, very clear” to his hosts in Pyongyang this week.

North Korea’s authoritarian government forbids nearly all its citizens from going online.
