Cambridge Associates plans to move Boston-based chief executive Sandra Urie to Singapore for much of the first half of next year to help reinforce its business throughout Asia. The consulting firm will also launch a new office in Beijing in mid-2011 to work with Chinese institutional investors and bolster local research efforts on behalf of clients worldwide.
Managing director Christopher Hunter, a private equity specialist, will relocate to Beijing from the firm’s London office to lead the new venture in China.
Ms Urie will spend four months in Asia helping to establish the new China office and meeting existing and prospective clients in the region.
