PSA Peugeot Citroën announced a shake-up yesterday of its senior management that will see the French carmaker base an executive board-level official in China for the first time.
This came on the heels of Peugeot's announcement that it planned to develop a new “core range” car for emerging markets which it will initially build in Spain.
Grégoire Olivier, aged 49, until now Peugeot's head of automotive strategy, will be based in Shanghai as head of the carmaker's operations in Asia, the company said.
