Drapery & White shirt/black trousers

When times get tough, the tough take refuge in tradition – such was the obvious conclusion from Paris fashion week, where it seemed every designer with a piece of fabric to swag went drapery-mad. Well, if it was good enough for the Greeks, Madeleine Vionnet, Yves Saint Laurent and Emmanuel Ungaro (and we are talking here about the original designers, not the brands), why shouldn't it be good enough for us?
