Opportunities in the UK commercial property market are undeniable, given yields of almost 8 per cent being offered on quality real estate and pricing of trophy assets at far below the long-term average.
Even on a conservative investment basis, there is a case to be made. This is only strengthened by the lack of attractive alternatives, with other asset classes and deposit accounts potentially yielding far less.
However, investors say there are a number of issues deterring business. One is that prices are continuing to fall fast. Pricing looks comparatively attractive, but presumably more so by summer.
