North Korean leader Kim Jong Un agreed to arrange a second summit with US President Donald Trump “as soon as possible” and said he was ready to allow international inspectors to the country’s key nuclear and missile testing sites, according to Mike Pompeo, US secretary of state.

“It is a long process,” Mr Pompeo told reporters in Seoul. “We made significant progress. We’ll continue to make significant progress.”
