One of the Trump administration’s top trade officials will travel to China next week for a fresh round of talks as tensions rumble on between Washing and Beijing.
Wilbur Ross, the commerce secretary, will travel to China from June 2 to June 4, Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported on Friday.
The announcement of the trip comes as the rival superpowers and the world’s two largest economies continue to swap both threats and concessions over trade.
