In an announcement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Japan’s NSK Ltd said the National Development and Reform Commission had ordered it to pay a penalty of Rmb174.9m ($28.5m) for violations of China’s Anti-Monopoly Law. The company, which makes bearings and other car components, was the first to confirm it has been fined by the NDRC for alleged antitrust infractions.

日本精工株式會社(NSK Ltd)週二向東京證交所(Tokyo Stock Exchange)宣佈稱,中國國家發改委(NDRC)命令其繳納罰款1.749億元人民幣(合2850萬美元),原因是違反中國反壟斷法。這家生產軸承等汽車配件的公司,是第一家證實自己因涉嫌違反中國反壟斷法而被國家發改委罰款的公司。
