Chinese factory production slows to 8 month low
Demand for made-in-China goods is continuing to falter, HSBC's preliminary or "flash" purchasing managers' index for March has signalled. The survey produced a reading of 48.1, which showed contraction and undershot forecasts.
A PMI score above 50 indicates expansion. The 48.1 score is the lowest since July.
