Before the 2024 U.S. election, I wrote an article predicting Trump's victory, joking that the global mainstream media's heyday would return, as he would inevitably provide daily news, major stories every three days, and sensational headlines every five days. Five weeks into Trump's 2.0 administration, the reality has far exceeded expectations, with almost daily bombshells dominating the headlines, leaving journalists and editors exhausted, struggling to keep up, yet unable to ignore the developments. Compared to Trump 1.0, he is more aggressive, delivering a barrage of heavy and wild punches. The "old hands" may not be knocked out, but they are at least half-scared, with the force of the backlash rebounding on themselves.
