As the chief executive of one of the last dotcom companies to go public in 2000, I find the recent woes of tech companies such as WeWork, Uber and Peloton all too familiar.
These private companies, accustomed to being feted as heroes as they easily raised billions of dollars, have come under tough scrutiny as they seek to move into the public markets. Their business models are under criticism and their valuations have crumbled.
