Global investors can ill-afford to ignore China’s equities

China equities are set to be one of the investment opportunities of 2018 — one that global investors can ill afford to ignore.

MSCI’s milestone decision last year to include A-shares, which are traded on Chinese stock exchanges, in its flagship emerging markets index was just the beginning.

Upon full inclusion, China will be a huge component of the international investable universe, with A-shares and other Chinese stocks traded on foreign exchanges making up nearly half of the overall index.
