Russia and the US are in talks on establishing a joint working group on cyber security, Moscow said on Thursday, in remarks that will fuel bipartisan anxiety in Washington over how Donald Trump is dealing with Russia.
“Talks are under way,” Andrei Krutskikh, Russian president Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for cyber security, told Russian state media.
Mr Putin and Mr Trump agreed to create a cyber security unit while meeting for the first time at the G20 summit in Hamburg two weeks ago.
