Hillary Clinton has won the Washington DC Democratic primary, the final event of the 2016 Democratic primary contest, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday.
After 83 per cent of precincts had been counted, Mrs Clinton was on 78.7 per cent of the votes with Mr Sanders on 21.1 per cent. Twenty delegates were at stake in the primary which was open only to registered Democrats.
