Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and China’s Harvest Global Investments plan to roll out a range of US-listed China A-shares exchange traded funds, following their launch of the US’s first ETF with direct exposure to the shares.
The affiliated DBX ETF Trust filed with US regulators last month for eight A-shares rollouts, including one focused on small caps and seven dedicated to sectors including technology, materials, industrials, health care, finance, consumer staples and consumer discretionary. Harvest is listed as the ETFs’ subadviser.
DeAWM and Harvest teamed up in November in launching the db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares Fund, the first ETF in the US with direct exposure to A-shares.
