Shares across the region slid yesterday amid concern that China could start to withdraw some of its stimulus measures following strong economic data.
The FTSE Asia-Pacific index dropped 1.1 per cent to 227.44. The Shanghai Composite index lost 0.6 per cent to 3,051.412.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng fell 0.5 per cent to 22,210.52 while a sub-index of mainland Chinese shares traded in Hong Kong lost 0.3 per cent to 12,959.93.
