The head of Asia-Pacific mergers and acquisitions for Bank of America-Merrill Lynch has announced plans to leave, becoming the latest senior executive to quit the troubled bank.
Kalpana Desai, who has been among the highest profile dealmakers in the region for the past decade, told colleagues on Thursday that she was leaving to “pursue other business opportunities”.
She could not be reached for comment.
